The Pool centers on Day, an art director played by Theeradej Wongpuapan. After a photo shoot at an abandoned, six-meter-deep Olympic-sized pool, Day falls asleep on an inflatable raft. He wakes up to find the water level has drained too low for him to reach the edge. The situation quickly escalates from a frustrating mistake into a life-or-death struggle.
As the story unfolds, Jen finds herself trapped in Luke's isolated mansion, with no clear escape route. The lines between reality and fantasy blur, and Jen's perception of her situation becomes distorted. The film's central theme revolves around the exploration of power dynamics, consent, and the complexities of human relationships.
