The single biggest complaint about the AVIC-RZ500 is the maps. The stock unit has a 20GB HDD (Hard Disk Drive) loaded with data for Japan only.

While many JDM units are locked to Japanese, the RZ500 allows for a language change to English through the settings menu. Access Menu : Look for the button labeled メニュー (Menu) on the physical device.
