Previous releases often had duplicate versions or broken symlinks. Version 4.0 would launch version 3.0. Now, each of the five Wine versions is sandboxed properly, allowing you to swap between winecfg for Diablo II (DX7) and Might and Magic VIII (DX8) without reinstalling. Good choice if you want several prebuilt Wine variants in one stable package to reduce setup time and increase compatibility across different Windows programs.
