| Issue | Solution | | :--- | :--- | | | Disable outdated sound mods. Move your Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod folder to your desktop temporarily. | | "No engine sound" | Verify your in-game audio settings. Ensure "Sound Engine: FMOD" is active (default). Restart the game. | | "Stuttering / FPS drops" | The new audio engine uses more CPU. Lower your "Sound Quality" from "High" to "Medium" in Audio settings. | | "My saved game won't load" | Load the save, then immediately "Save As" a new name. The old autosaves may have mod conflicts. |
