OPL relies on .ISO or .UL formats. While some homebrew projects are experimenting with CHD support on original hardware, the overhead of decompression often causes stuttering on the aging PS2 CPU. If you play primarily on original hardware via an internal HDD or SMB network share, stick to ISO.
